Valentines Brunch @Weslodge Saloon :Review

Hope you all had a fantastic Valentines Day with your dear ones. I definitely had one of the most memorable dining experience at the luxurious restaurant Weslodge Saloon which is located on the 68th floor in JW Marriott Marquis.

look at the ambience, you surely do feel luxurious here. The dark colors and the mismatch loveseats and chairs felt vintage and rich. After 10:30pm the whole atmosphere gets darker and the in house DJ plays his best mixes! The restaurant has a full bar and a private dining area. With the breathtaking views i can promise you all to have a great night here. Now lets get to the food..

The concept is just like the other brunches where the chef sends in dishes one after the other.

Valentines Brunch Menu

– TO  EAT –

Baby Gem

Sea Bass Ceviche

Burrara & Tomato

Fried CalamariOur server did ask us if we are fine with eating RAW! With the answer being “no” she made sure that nothing raw was send to us on our table.

Fried Chicken

Weslogde Slider

Sirloin Usda Prime Loved the fried chicken as well as the sliders. Very tasteful and delicious! As for the truffle steak it was perfect too but the sides didnt fascinate us a lot. We feel it needs some dips or sauces on side as well. These are the sides that the steak comes in with:

Creamed Corn

Grilled Broccolini

Mac & Cheese

What disappointed us was the fact that one side of mac & cheese was not served to us. I only noticed it when i was going through the menu! The manager did apologize and was ready to serve us but we already got done with the mains.

Dessert PlatterAssorted Desserts presented beautifully on ice!! Peanut butter fondant, sorbets, Creme Brulee and fruits

Non Alcoholic AED375 – selection of mocktails, soft drinks

House Beverage AED475 – selection of cocktails, house spirits, wine and beer

Champagne AED575 – all drinks including champagne as well
