Lose 10KGS in 10Days!?

Here i am again trying yet another diet but this time its nothing crazy where i have to stay away from solids. The diet that i am about to talk was featured on my sisters Facebook feed and i was fascinated by the title itself “HOW TO LOSE 10KGS IN 10DAYS” now we all know that its somewhere close to impossible losing one KG per day but the diet seemed normal and i didn’t hesitate at all to give this one a try!

I wanted to see if anyone had actually tried out this diet and there were very few with mixed reviews. Before starting a diet plan or exercise routine it all works differently on each body it might not work for me but it might work well for you!#viceversa So it all depends on that sadly i am gifted with a very slow metabolism and so the fat gets a hold on me quite easily! #badgenes

So this is what the Diet Plan looks like:

START YOUR DAY WITH…  TURMERIC TEA

 

WATER 250ML

CINNAMON 1/2 INCH

GROUND PEPPER 1/4 TSP

TURMERIC 1/2 TSP

GINGER1/2 INCH

 

BRING THE WATER TO BOIL, ADD IN PEPPER AND CINNAMON. WHILE SIMMERING ADD TURMERIC. THEN ADD THE GINGER IN CUP AND POUR THE LIQUID (DO NOT COVER) SIP IN AFTER 10 MINS

 AFTER 40 MINS…

BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

 

1 APPLE

1 CARROT

1/2 CUP WATER

1/2 LEMON

3 DATES

1 TBSP FLAX SEEDS

1/4 TSP CINNAMON

 

BLEND IN ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND SPRINKLE CINNAMON ON TOP.

LUNCH…

 

1 TOAST WITH ONE BOIL EGG

1 APPLE SPRINKLED WITH CINNAMON

 

AFTER 1/2 HOUR DRINK GREEN TEA

SNACKS…

 

CUP OF GREEN TEA WITH CARROTS,CUCUMBERS,CELERY, BEETROOTS

 

DINNER…

BEFORE 7:30PM

MASALA OATS

 

1 MEDIUM SIZE CARROT

4 BEANS

1/4 INCH GINGER

3 CLOVES OF GARLIC

1/4 CAPSICUM

8 SHALLOTS (ONIONS)

5 PERI PERI GREEN CHILIES

2 SPRINGS OF CURRY LEAVES

3 SPRINGS OF CORIANDER

1/2 TOMATO

1/2 OATS

1 & 1/2 CUPS OF WATER

1/2 TSP SALT

1/3 TSP TURMERIC POWDER

1/4 TSP JEERA

1/4 TSP GARAM MASALA

1/4 TSP PEPPER POWDER

 

POUR WATER, ADD SHALLOTS, CHILIES, GARLIC, GINGER, CURRY LEAVES, SALT, TURMERIC POWDER, JEERA. COVER IT AND ALLOW IT TO BOIL!

ONCE BOILED ADD IN CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES. AFTER WHICH COVER IT AGAIN AND ALLOW THE VEGETABLES TO COOK.

AFTER 2 MINS, ADD IN CORIANDER STICKS AND COVER AGAIN FOR 2 MINS. NEXT STEP IS TO REDUCE THE FLAME AND ADD IN OATS, STIR AND ADD IN GARAM MASALA,MIX AND LET THE OATS COOK! TOWARDS THE END ADD IN CAPSICUM, CORIANDER LEAVES AND PEPPER.

MIX ALL WELL AND ITS READY TO BE SERVED

 

BEFORE BEDTIME DRINK A GLASS OF LEMON WITH WARM WATER

For the oats instead of me cooking and chopping all those veggies i went with Saffola ready to eat Masala Oats, I only had to add them in boiling hot water and taa-daa all good to eat! It wasn’t that bad in taste, Me as a desi enjoyed the masala oats!

 

Now the main question is, did this work?!

I didn’t loose 10KGS, I lost 4KGS in 10Days and it left me with a less bloated, tucked in tummy! The breakfast smoothie freshened up my face and left me with a glow. And the morning turmeric tea is a great tea for losing fat around tummy area! The things that were included in this diet were not harmful or boring! Each one of it had its own goods..Maybe if i would have included some daily workout routine in my diet plan i would have lost more but i am impressed with the results!

I actually really liked this diet plan maybe once a month this kind of light diet is needed but the only negative thing on going on a diet is that i have to miss events and reschedule my tastings, But what else can i do right?! If you have an upcoming event where you need to loose some inches around the waist give this diet a try it might not make you loose 10KGS but will surely leave you looking fresher =)
